Welcome to
Texas Community Midwives

TCM is a nonprofit professional association dedicated to fostering a strong, supportive, and thriving midwifery community throughout Texas.

Our Mission

  • Create spaces for connection and belonging among midwives.

  • Provide opportunities for mentorship, peer review, and shared learning.

  • Recognize and celebrate each midwife’s unique strengths, skills, and contributions.

  • Encourage the midwifery profession through education, collaboration, and open communication.

Our Story

Founded in March 2025, Texas Community Midwives was born out of a need for connection and community. Midon, Janet, and Jennifer wanted to create together a lasting organization where our profession is not a competition, but a community. TCM is a place for midwives to create a sisterhood and where relationships are strengthened by our love of midwifery.
